Welcome To My Family Life

Brenden is 12 years old. He is 27 inches long and is, as we know it, the smallest person at his age. He is weight is 24 pounds. He has one of the smallest forms of dwarfism.He has the condition known as Desbuquois Syndrome. He is one of 32 people ever known to exist by the Cedar-Sina Medical Center The International Skeletal Dysplasia Registry. He is the most popular kid in school. He has been on TV numerous times. He has been on commercials for the Hendrick Medical Center "Hero Program" and has been featured on many national Childrens Miracle Network commercials. He also has been featured on the news and on the Hendrick Medical Centers Childrens Miracle Network.. He won a nation contest which included a free trip to Morgans Wonderland in San Antonio, Texas. This contest was won by votes from people around the world. So, he is definitely a popular kid.He has a million girlfriends and counting. He just has that face that women fall in love with. He has many things in life that he has to confront. Being only 27 inches long his parents have to pick him up and take him wherever he wants to go. He can walk a little bit. But, tires very easily now-days. He has had horse therapy in the past to strengthen his muscles and many other therapy's throughout his life. But, this has not stopped him from doing what a kid usually does. He loves the computer, board games, music, dance and acting on stage. He has been in many plays in town and has even a honorary member of the "Fly" dance group out of Houston, Texas. He has even danced for them in past shows on stage. Brenden loves people and has a heart of gold. He is a very interesting kid. One that will take your breath away.He keeps his mom, dad, grandma and grandpapa  busy all the time. He is a very busy boy,

Am proud mom to Brenden, 12 years old... He has a rare form of dwarfism little person and he is the greatest joy of my life! Brenden is my miracle child. For those of you that don't know my son, he was born with one of the rarest forms of dwarfism. He is a little person. There are only about 40 other confirmed cases ever with his type (there are over 200 types of dwarfism- Desbuquious Syndrome... He is a happy and independent little boy. Oh, and he is a huge flirt! We are very involved the local CMN Childrens Miracle Network telethon..... I deal with everything with a sense of humor... That way I don't actually "deal" with anything.... Not the smartest thing in the world, I know.

My husband, James, passed away in 2006, after 45 years of a wonderful marriage. I married when I was just a teen. Knew what I wanted and went after it. LOL I have 2 grown sons, Russell (AKA Ricky Russ), Chris (AKA John Scott) and 3 grandchildren and one great grandson. Russell is a multiple award winning, lead singer and radio personality. His great band is the Christian group, Ricky Russ and The 180 Band. He has had several songs in the top 20 on the Christian Music Charts, as well as a #1 song. Chris has been a DJ radio personality for many years. He and Russell has talk show on the Inspirational network on radio, Monday thru Friday. Was on the Party Patrol for a while. Trent, 24, just graduated from Harding University in Arkansas. Brittney, 22, is expecting my great grandson in a very few weeks. (Update, Karter Evan Jones was born June 12, 2012. Doesn't she realize I am too young to have a GREAT grandson) Britney is a very sweet and beautiful young lady. Brenden,10, is in the fourth grade at Bowie Elementary. He has been featured, since he was 3, on the yearly TV telethon, Children's Miracle Network. He was the USA national "poster child" for CMN, a couple of years back. I, also, have two wonderful Daughters-in-law. Kim Chris is the manager of ACT, Abilene Community Theater and Debbie (Russell) is the manager of 2 apartment complexes. Debbie has given me two more grandchildren. They are grown boys from a previous marriage, Brandon and Bopper. Golly, I love my family! Does it show?

  I love my boys!!!!!! Well there is really not much to say,I was born and raised in Sweetwater,Texas.Living in Abilene been here since 1992.I have 2 handsome young men Brandon ,Bopper.I am married to Russell.My job really keeps me busy I am a Property Manager of 2 apartment complex.

I m a proud father of a 12 year old son named Brenden. He is my world. My heart is totally consumed by him. He is my best freind. I also was a d.j for many years and built radio stations through the years. I also was a mecahnic for many years as well. I spend my time now retired and mostly spend time with Brenden. Which is a full time job. Just ask anybody..

Grandpa also known as Papa to Brenden is involved in the managing Abilene Community theatre. Brenden says he is silly.

Mary Robertson Bachmann, 51, passed away Friday, December 15, 2006 after a courageous 9 month battle with cancer. Her funeral service with Pastor Mel Swoyer of Phlugerville officiating, will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 HWY 277 South. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.Mary was born on June 23, 1955 in Springfield, Tennessee, Robertson County which was named after her family. Her father John passed away in 1957 and in 1960, Mary and her mother, Margaret, moved to Abilene.Mary married Bruce Bachmann in 1972 and in 1973, gave birth to their only child, Kim. Mary worked with Bruce in the family owned auto sales business for 25 years and also worked in retail sales for many department stores around town most recently with J.C. Penney where her shoe sales were ranked No. 1 for the store and No. 4 in the district. Mary enjoyed ceramics, bowling and doing volunteer work with the Abilene Community Theatre. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her 4 year old grandson, Brenden. Survivors include, her husband, Bruce; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Chris Baker; grandson, Brenden Baker; mother-in-law, Lois Bachmann of Nazareth, PA; and numerous other Bachmann and Baker family relatives.Her parents, John and Margaret Robertson preceded her in death.
Pallbearers will be Robert J. Barton, Bob Hodges, Bill Bryant, Gary Bone, Jim Jarrett and George Chisholm. Honorary pallbearers are Denny McFarland, Ed Osborne and Bill Plaster.
